Now I am officially a King's Daughter. No, actually THE King's Daughter.
My hope and light, the true and living God that lights the path I'm walking on, helping me and sustaining me whenever I fall. Oh, and that happens a lot. The fact that I fall, I mean :)
Falling isn't just when I sin against Him, it is also when, after failing, I feel ashamed, not worthy to enjoy the life He gave to me. It is also when I feel sick, hurt, miserable, sad, and angry.
But you know what? He taught me to leave all the wrong thoughts to Him, get up, take my dandelion seed and FLY. Over everything and everyone. Sounds awesome, doesn't it? Get up and fly! That's what He wants for us: to be free from every chain of this world, that causes pain and sufferance and that leaves us with emptiness inside.
Why are you striving these days
Why are you trying to earn grace
Why are you crying
Let me lift up your face
Just don't turn away
Why are you looking for love
Why are you still searching as if I'm not enough
To where will you go child
Tell me where will you run
To where will you run
And I'll be by your side
Wherever you fall
In the dead of night
Whenever you call
And please don't fight
These hands that are holding you
My hands are holding you
Lyrics: By your side, Tenth Avenue North (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QQXlUZYxLMY&feature=relmfu <-- Watch it!) As I was saying, I am now officially the King's Daughter, cause I've been baptized last sunday :) It all started at 10 am, the pastor preached, we sang worship songs, I had to tell the audience (can I call it like that?) my experience with God (I was pretty nervous, but in the end it came all spontaneously haha. Typical Julie.) It was a blessed day, a few friends of mine came as well and we all enjoyed the sunny day, laughing, talking, eating, drinking Frappuccino (gosh I love that) and bathing in our swimming pool. And today I finally received my King's Daughter Ring!
Isn't it beautiful !?
I love it!
